Does a pc support 5.1 channel speakers through the sound card specs, or the speakers itself? - laptop 5.1 through hdmi max number of channels 2
I have a Gateway FX computer that has 2 audio channels. I was looking for 2-speaker systems. Logitech G51 (specifically developed for the PC) and a LG Home Cinema System. Both are 5.1-channel speakers. LG does not have HDMI or RCA-normal because of the ISC work at all that the team will support 5.1-channel, and only 2 channels. so I think that 5.1-channel support is dependent on the sound card. But the speakers Logitech G51 PC to 5.1 sound is especially so in this case does not depend on your speakers or sound card are not compatible with 5.1. What is it? really not a PC sense.my almost all types of connections your computer does not play because of the level of the game much better it is logical to support nearly all of them.

If your sound card does not output 5.1 does, you will not get true surround sound. If you convert 2-channel audio in 5.1, not true surround sound, you have to play only the left channel through the front right and rear right, etc.
